The DIVISIBLE MAN is a comic created by Mort Todd intended to emulate the superheroes of the Golden Age of Comics. This story was written & penciled by Mort with inks by award-winning artist Dan Clowes, famous for the comics Ghostworld and Art School Confidential, which both became popular films.

The following is a cover for a DIVISIBLE MAN comic drawn by Mort and inked by comics legend John Severin for a planned series which never materialized.

Mort Todd collaborated with Dan Clowes on a few comics including writing and penciling some of Clowes’ early Lloyd Llewellyn comics. The Divisible Man even co-starred in one of the stories. That story has been reprinted in Fantagraphics’ collection The Manly World of Lloyd Llewellyn.
